Exquisite vintage silk rose flower gown by Eleanor Garrett from the 1960s. This one shoulder maxi dress is expertly made and has the original silk lining that is very well constructed and the original metal zipper. The partial sleeve is hemmed by hand and scallops along with the edges of the flowers. The beautiful print even shows the thorns on the stems of the flowers.

The silhouette has a column shape with sweeping fabric gathered into the side seams at certain areas like a gorgeous grecian toga.

The interior has boning like a corset and waist belt with hook and eye.

The dress has some staining under the arms, most notably the side that doesn't have a sleeve, and there are a few tiny holes there. There are a few light areas with minor staining shown in the photos.

The majority of the stains and holes are located at the very bottom of the dress. It could be hemmed or pleated in a way by a good seamstress or tailor to hide this imperfections. We have included many photos of this area and are happy to send along more to serious buyers.
