At Vice, our passion is coffee. Our dedication to the art, craft and science of coffee drives us to seek perfection and quality in all our products. All our beans are Arabica and score over 85 points on grading. We are committed to purchasing in compliance with the fair trade practice and from the finest coffee farms spanning the world’s best coffee regions. Our coffee is meticulously purchased, handled and roasted to the highest of standards using the finest roasting equipment available. At Vice, we take our humanitarian responsibilities seriously, which is why 10% of all product sales are donated to charity, assisting communities in need.
Our craft extends past coffee itself; we also push the boundaries with custom fabrication and design. Like coffee, custom work has its challenges, but it’s those challenges we embrace with a sense of humility and pride. We take pride in producing some of the best customised kits and accessories for the leading coffee machine brands. All parts and accessories are meticulously put together either by hand or by cnc machinery. All our designs are carefully crafted to suit your specific aesthetic and practical needs with quality materials.
It all started back in 1997 working as a young barista in a popular Sydney beachside cafe. It was there that my immersion into the cafe culture began and little did I know my voyage into the unknown had begun. I spent over 20 years learning the art and craft of a barista, fine tuning and perfecting my talent and drive. But it was never enough, I knew I had more to learn and to give, which I channeled into another sphere . the art and science of roasting. Much like my early years being behind an espresso machine, I was now nestled behind a coffee roaster. Both different roles, but ultimately seeking to achieve the same thing, “perfection”.
After years of honing my skill into the one craft, Vice was born. We absolutely love what we do and we are proud and excited to share it with you. At Vice we strive to make a difference and we thank you for trusting us as we embark on this journey together.
