A fine and impressive 15 carat yellow gold and 18 carat yellow gold set brooch; part of our antique Victorian jewellery collections

This fine and impressive brooch has been crafted in 15ct and 18ct yellow gold.

The pierced decorated, plain circular frame is ornamented to the centre with a three-dimensional 18ct yellow gold chick design standing next to a hatched egg, all on a textured mound.

The hatched egg is embellished with impressive white hot enamel decoration.

The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.

The reverse of the setting is hallmarked with the 15ct gold mark (15C).

This Victorian chick and egg brooch is excellent quality and an excellent gauge of gold.

The impressive hot enamel is in perfect condition.

The brooch is in excellent condition with a clear hallmark to the reverse of the setting.
