Add some vintage charm to your collection with this rare printed wood novelty sign from Carolina Beach, NC. This unique piece features a poem that states "Start fishing in the early dawn, try minnows, worms, and flies, if you don't catch the biggest fish, make up the biggest lies."

The sign is scratched (see photos).

The sign's origins are shrouded in mystery, but it was likely produced in the 1950s or 60s. The original leather strap is gone but attests to how old it is (see pics).
