Firefly Arc of Fire Markers, MK.II

NATO-approved Firefly Arcmarkers are self luminous devices that do not require either batteries, charging or ambient light. Popular with British armed forces, they are most commonly used for arc of fire marking, trench identification, path and spot marking, mine marking and as map pointers. They also make useful training aids for outdoor demonstrations etc. Illumination is provided via gaseous tritium light sources (GTLS) that offer safe reliable luminance for 10 years. Observable by the naked eye up to 30 feet. Invisible to night vision equipment. GTLS provide clear marking in complete darkness whilst a fluorescent yellow flash provides visibility during daylight and dusk conditions in any operational conditions. Will not affect night vision. Supplied in pairs.
