Universal optical revolving viewfinder “VU” produced by the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant. It allows you to determine the frame boundaries of a standard format for 24x36 mm film when shooting with lenses with focal lengths from 28 mm to 135 mm. That is, a standard set of optics for rangefinder cameras. This device remains in demand today. Why? Because it makes it easier and clearer to see the frame in any lighting conditions. It’s small and using it to figure out the angle and composition is much easier and faster than if you had to do it with the camera’s sight.
