Antique 19th Islamic Indo-Persian Khula Khud Helmet Chiseled Gold w/ Mail, Spike
Khula Khud, 19th c. Complete with nasal, chain mail, top spike and two plume holders.
The decoration is chiseled and engraved with gold and silver Koftgari.
There is a wide ring of Persian calligraphy engraved in gold at the base of the helmet.
The mail is butted with decoratively arranged brass rings. An impressive example....
