Vintage 1950's / 1960's Wicker Chairs.

Nice rounded chair made of wicker/rattan. Solid McCobb style iron legs for a nice streamlined Modernist design.

Stationary Chairs:

Each measures 22 1/2" from side to side. Arm height is 26". Back height is 29". Bucket style seat measures 17" wide x 18" deep and dips down to about 12" tall. Shows light surface marks. Wicker is strong with no brittleness and easily holds the weight of an adult. Original black paint on iron. Welds and surface rust showing on frames. Sturdy, original construction sits flat and flush. The front of each base has two iron posts that fit into holes underneath the chairs. The backside of the chairs are just free standing and it would be recommended to add support (a tie or rattan wrap) to the backside to make the chairs one solid piece instead of a base with a top that is removable.

Rocking Chairs:

Each measures 26" from side to side. Arm height is 23 1/2". Back height is 29". Bucket style seat measures 17" wide x 18" deep and dips down to about 12" tall. Wicker and bamboo is dried out and were used outside. Sturdy, original construction sits flat and flush.

Iron Frame:

Sturdy, original construction sits flat and flush. The front of the base has two iron posts that would fit underneath the chairs. Piece measures approx 16" tall x 19 1/2" x 22".
