Antique Tressemann & Vogt (T&V) France Hand Painted Footed and Handled Bowl with Lid DEPOSE (registered) TOURAINE

This gorgeous item is decorated by hand with pink roses on the bowls body and the lid. The gold handles are embossed and the top of the bowl shows a gold rim.

Just beautiful!

The item is marked in green "Depose Touraine T & V France" on the bowls back. This mark was used by Tressemann and Vogt (T & V) Limoges France between 1897 -1907. Tressemann and Vogt became partners in 1880's until Tressemann retired in 1907. "Depose Touraine" means "registered Touraine". Touraine was a former Province of NW Central France, known as an area of royal residences especially along the Loire river.

The item is in excellent used condition, especially considering the age. There is a small flat "chip" and 1/4" mark on the inside rim of the lid and light gild wear on the handles. Nothing eye catching or disturbing. No crazing visible. Please check our pictures as they are part of the description.
