This beautiful Royal Worcester bone china figurine was designed by Freda Doughty and is titled "Grandmother's Dress". This collection was produced in a variety of colors, introduced in 1935, and withdrawn in 1983. Freda Doughty, who specialized in child figurines, was one of Royal Worcester's most successful modelers of the era. Freda truly brought RW into the modern world of figurines. The backstamp on the base reads: "Modeled by F G Doughty, Royal Worcester, Fine Bone China, England, Grandmother's Dress #308..”. The piece measures 6.5” in height. The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or other faults. A very beautiful piece of Royal Worcester for the discerning collector. Just heartwarming and timeless, it would be a great gift for someone special or a lovely addition to your home.
