Fountain pen, BLACK body with 1/10, 12K Gold filled cap. Made in U.S.A. - The Nib is a "Parker 65" 14K, Fine nib. Writes smoothly.

Length: 13.85 cms = 5.45 inches (approx.)
Filling:

Many cartridge pens can be fitted with a device called a converter. The converter plugs into the place the cartridge would go and acts as a filling mechanism, allowing you to draw ink from a bottle.

Cap & Body:Translucent gray mother-of-pearl cap and body jewel. NO initials engraved on the cap.

Hystory:

The Parker "VP" was the brainchild of Kenneth Parker who during the early 1950's had conteplated a pen with an adjustable grip to make life a little easier for left-handed writers and others that preferred a somewhat different writing angle. He discussed the matter with Parkers designer Don Doman, who designed many models for Parker.
