Height about 14.5 cm (about 5 3/4 inches). TMK 1 "Crown Mark". The figurine was made between 1935 and 1949. It has under the base a stamped, as well as an incised TMK 1 "Crown Mark" , is a so-called "double crown" figurine. Under the base red initials of Goebel's painter Heinrich Pechtold. Since there are no other stamps, it was most likely made before 1945.
This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1935. Large version. Being a very early piece, it is incised "16." only. Later this was changed to "16/I".
The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, crazing, repairs or the likes.
