this is a beautiful and very rare and delicate 1930's mesh lace wedding dress

The outer mesh lace is very delicate and has been hand embroidered and had embroidered with tiny gold beads and flower appliques.

The dress was customized during the late 40's/early 50's where light rayon lining was sewn in and a zip added. Many of these wedding dresses were passed down through the generations and were often altered.

The original dress would have had side or back buttons/hooks and a seperate slip 

will fit a modern UK size 8- 10 approx. 

The inner lining measures 18 inches across the bust and hips, length is 59 inches...the waist is free due to being a loose relaxed design

The dress is a little creased and dusty especially along the top edges and neckline. There is a patch of orange dot marks near the hemline, there is a rip to the inner lining and a hole under one arm that will need a repair (very common with these ultra fragile mesh 30's dresses). But otherwise it's  in remarkably  mgood condition  mfor a 90 year old dress!
