You will have what you say, so why not speak words of victory instead of defeat?

The Scriptures say, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Prov. 18:21). Everything God has for us must be claimed by faith. And by faith we can receive what we need anytime or anywhere. What we receive, however, is determined by what we say. If we are speaking words of defeat, lack, and sickness, then that is exactly what we will have. But if we continually speak words of victory, health, prosperity, and so forth, we will always come out on top and walk in God’s best.
