Pure MANNOS Elegance, Very Splendid shaver, Unused and RARE ! Please read all the description

Being offered is an old and very gorgeous straight razor of the Deluxe category by Mann & Federlein fully MADE IN SOLINGEN, GERMANY in excellent workmanship of the famous MANNOS brand. One of the aristocrat models of their range.

Made around the 1940-50s. Mannos main business was the the south and latin America market (mostly larger blades like 7/8) as well as some European countries like Spain and Portugal were served.

This razor has a really stunning and fantastic appearance with its polished blade to glazy mirror shine on both sides!

Comes with delicate gilded etching.

Blade has a fantastic and rare mother of pearl (MOP) worked tang! This feature today is no more provided by any remaining razor manufacturers at Solingen, cause this is a real bunch of work and needs special skill to customize for not breaking the Mop during assembling...

Blade embedded in a classic pair of black shiny Bakelite scales. Unfortunately the highly polished blade cannot be seen all its beauty due to reflection of the material and light circumstances, but tried to take pictures as good as possible.

A 6/8" of an inch blade full hollow and thin ground, handmade by the best artisan craftsmen at that time and singing every morning for your shaving pleasure or your collection. Its very sharp and thus shave-ready.

Weight approx. 46 g.

Best carbon steel blade thats masterly thin ground guarantees smooth and stylish shaves. The razor is in unused condition hasn't seen any water nor soap.

The only thing is that it has some tiny rust or pitting spots on the blade, these look worse and larger on the pics than in person due to macro. On the mirror shine blade you won't even realize them directly. Also some rust on the jimps and on the mother of pearl tang piece on the back side (near trademark). Ebay allows only to list new or used, but the razor is unused, so cannot describe the issues for a new item except here in this description.
