Please Read Planting Instructions for Bird of Paradise Seeds:

Carefully nick the outside of the seed shells with a file or small knife.

A Small surface nick on the seed shell just to let water absorb into the seed.

Soak the seeds for 2 to 3 days in lukewarm water, change the water daily.

Soil temperature must be WARM, ideally 85 to 90 degrees F.

Plant seeds one inch deep in moist potting soil.

Cover the container with clear plastic wrap to retain humidity and keep the soil moist.

Take the plastic off daily for a few minutes to let in fresh air.

Seeds should take 1 to 3 months to germinate and sprout depending on soil temperature and conditions.

Germination times vary widely, Please be patient and continue to maintain the seeds.

It will be well worth your time and effort.
