The M & S jewelry brand began in the mid-1940s in Providence, Rhode Island and lasted a little over two decades. The designers of this company adhered to the Art Deco style, creating sophisticated, almost filigree jewelry using 10-12 carat gold and an abundance of stones and complex-cut crystals. Jewelry from this brand went out of production in the early 1960s and today is antique and highly collectible.

 

I have had two diminutive pairs of vintage screw-back M&S earrings in my collection for years. I’ve decided to sell them together in this listing. Both pairs are in beautiful condition and extremely sparkly!

PHOTOGRAPHS & CONDITIONS

Make sure to carefully view all the photos as they form a significant part of the description. Enlarge them and study them. Before buying, please look at each picture carefully and check for condition, details, and imperfections.

 

Most of our inventory is Vintage or Pre-Owned, therefore, some items may show age-appropriate signs of wear (like marks, scratches, chips, nicks, or dings) and may contain unseen flaws or imperfections in addition to the information listed or photographs provided. Please note that some color variations may be caused by camera and lighting conditions.

 

Dates attributed, unless other evidence of provenance exists, are educated guesses based on style, design, texture, research, appraisals, or anecdotal information. But we aren’t experts, and we could be wrong. The sizes posted are close approximations and not exact measurements.

 

SHIPPING & HANDLING

Packaging – Our primary shipping concern is to pack your items safely for transport. In addition to using new packaging materials, we also believe in recycling whenever possible.

Mailing Address - We will ONLY ship to the address on file with eBay. We will NOT ship to a third-party address. Before making a purchase, please ensure that your mailing address is correct. We may otherwise cancel the sale.

Handling Time - We ship packages every Wednesday and Saturday, except for holidays.

Calculated Shipping - Shipping fees are calculated based on weight and dimensions. We ship USPS and UPS, and their established fees are beyond our control. However, many of our items include FREE SHIPPING.

Combined Invoices - We will combine shipping if purchases can be safely combined. Combined invoices are sent weekly (on either Wednesday or Saturday), except for holidays.

Insurance and Tracking - All items are shipped with insurance and tracking. 

 

PAYMENT & RETURNS

Payment - Payment is expected at the point of purchase or the at the close of an auction unless an agreement is made beforehand. 

Non-Paying Bidders - After two days of non-payment, we will initiate a formal “Unpaid Item Case” on eBay. Non-paying buyers or bidders may be blocked from future transactions.

Canceled Transactions - If a buyer or winning bidder requests to cancel the sale without a valid reason, they may be blocked from future transactions.

International Shipping – At his time, USA shipping only. If you are an International Buyer seriously interested in one of our items, please contact us.

Returns – We are a small, home-based resale business. Therefore, it would be cost-prohibitive for us to accept returns. This policy may change as our business grows. However, you are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee if you receive an item that is not as described in the Listing.

 

BIDDING

Auctions – We will periodically hold 5-day auctions starting on Tuesday and ending on the following Sunday. Auction wins will ship on Wednesday.

Retracting Bids - Bids can be canceled through the HELP section of eBay. If a bidder cancels bids excessively, they will be blocked from future transactions.

Shill Bidding - If a buyer appears to be bidding and retracting suspiciously to manipulate bids, they will be blocked from future bidding and reported to eBay.

 

COMMUNICATION

We love to hear from customers (and Mom’s readers). However, all communication between Buyer and Seller needs to be conducted via the eBay platform and NOT via phone, text, personal email, chat boxes, messaging, or other social media methods. We cannot reply to requests for item identification, appraisals, or business inquiries
