AIRFLO SPEY/SWITCH SKAGIT SCOUT FLOAT 360 GRAIN 16.5' FOOT HEAD IN WASABI GREEN COLOR

The ultimate single-hand Skagit line. The Scout is perfect for single-hand spey casting or when fishing switch rods in tight quarters. Its super supple polyurethane construction provides beautiful presentations, cast after cast. Features printed, color-coded, welded loops for easy line identification.

Utilizing the best all-polyurethane construction and an improved, supple coating, the Skagit Scout heads open up water that is unfishable with other lines. They allow trout, steelhead, and salmon fishermen to use their single-hand and switch rods to cast any sink tip in their bag.

Features:

  • Taper: Short Switch Skagit Taper
  • Core: Power Core
  • Range: ST 2/3 – ST 7/8
  • Coating: Ultra-Supple PolyFuse XT
  • Flexi Loop
  • Super Dri Technology

For nearly 70 years, the majority of fly lines have been made from PVC — a naturally rigid plastic that requires the use of plasticizers to make PVC lines functional.  Unfortunately, these plasticizers are anything but a permanent part of a PVC fly line.

You see, from the minute it’s made, a PVC line begins breaking down — leaching plasticizers into the environment and contaminating you and the waters you fish. Once it has shed enough of these chemicals, it becomes prone to cracking, and sometimes, even failure.

As if all that’s not enough, as it decomposes, PVC is known to release Dioxins — a group of lethal, bio-accumulating toxins. Consequently, it’s virtually impossible to safely dispose of a PVC line.

All of which is why Airflo has never used PVC to produce our lines.  Since 1984, our lines have been made from Polyurethane — an inert, stable, recyclable material that requires no plasticizers, performs better and lasts far longer than PVC lines.

CRYSTAL FLY SHOP IS PLEASED TO BE AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR AIRFLO FLY LINES AND ACCESSORIES

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: You are responsible for paying any customs duties/ taxes, which vary from country to country. WE WILL NOT FALISIFY CUSTOMS DECLARATION FORMS, SO DON'T EVEN ASK. There are many reasons buyers should not ask sellers to engage in this activity: 1) It's illegal. 2) Your item cannot be insured at full value if it is not declared at full value, making you financially responsible if it is lost, stolen, or damaged. 3) Items that are under-declared are much more likely to be seized by customs officials. 4) Asking a seller to participate in customs fraud is against Ebay policy
