VIntage 1955 ROYAL COPENHAGEN Hand Painted Demitasse / Tea Cup & Saucer BLUE FLOWER #10/8040.

The mark you find on both, cup and saucer, was used by Royal Copenhagen in 1955 (Dash below "D" of Denmark). Next to the typical green Royal Copenhagen stamp you also find the 3 blue waves (cup with addition "Tb" and saucer with "Hx"). Both items show the pattern number in green 10/8040. "8040" is in the cup's back also incised.

Wonderful elegant white porcelain with embossed weaved bands along the rims. The slightly embossed handle of the cup has blue decor on the sides. Two different blue flower bouquets are decorated on both sides of the cup. The saucers center is surrounded by three painted and evenly spread different small blue flowers.

Just gorgeous elegant and timeless design!!!! Stunning in use and display! Nice for a small cup of tea or an espresso!

Great addition or replacement to any fine porcelain collection! Perfect gift also i.e. for the blue and white porcelain lover!

The set is in excellent used condition. There are no chips, no crazing, no cracks nor repairs visible. The items look like they were well taken care of. Please check our pictures as they are part of the description.
