A magnificent porcelain doll created by world-acclaimed designer Gloria Vanderbilt that brings to life a beautiful young Victorian lady dressed for her first formal ball.
She is crafted in fine bisque porcelain with hand painted delicate features, she has charming green eyes and auburn hair.
She wears a stunning gown of blue floral jacquard with a high off the shoulder neckline of pleated misty chiffon, trimmed with embroidered lace.
Her gown has short gathered puff sleeves over the long split chiffon sleeves, beautifully edged with embroidered lace.
Her gown has a long train, draped in light ivory misty chiffon decorated with pearl, satin rosettes, floral appliques and trimmed with lace. This amazing train is finished at the waist with a giant blue bow.
Her hair highly decorated with floral appliques and streams of pearls.
Her unforgettable look is finished with pearl braiding in her hair, pearl clustered earrings and painted white heeled shoes with big blue painted bows.
She carries a very nice "Formal Dance Card" hand-bordered with 24 carat gold accents which can be tied to her hand with white satin ribbon.
Wonderful Caroline doll stands approximately 19-20" tall (21-22 inch on stand, including hairstyle). Original price was $295.00
