Water ring vacuum pump

SK series water ring vacuum pump is equivalent to 2 SK series water ring vacuum pumps used in series.
Because SK series water ring vacuum pump can only reach the ultimate vacuum degree of -700mmHg, in order to achieve higher vacuum and high vacuum under the larger pumping rate, in the 1980s, the domestic development of 2SK series vacuum pump.
2SK type water ring vacuum pump and 2SK-P1 series two stage water ring vacuum pump-air jet pump unit are used to pump air and other non-corrosive, insoluble in water, do not contain solid particles of gas in order to obtain a higher vacuum in closed vessels.
2SK type water ring vacuum pump is widely used in food, textile, chemical, pharmaceutical and metallurgical industries and electronic fields of vacuum evaporation, vacuum concentration, vacuum moisture return, vacuum impregnation, vacuum drying and vacuum smelting.
2SK series is used for suction pressure below -0.08MPa and the 2SK-P1 series is used for suction pressure below -0.096MPa. 

Features of 2SK type water ring vacuum pump:

1. Compared with SK series single stage water ring vacuum pump, it has the characteristics of high vacuum degree and high pumping speed in high vacuum area.
2. Under the same pumping rate, the shaft power is significantly higher than that of 2BV and 2BE series water ring vacuum pumps.
3. Because the structure is double impeller structure, the manufacturing and maintenance are more complex, and there are more wearing parts.

2SK water-ring vacuum pump is shown in Figure 1. The impeller (5) is installed eccentrically in the pump body (3). When the impeller rotates, the water is thrown around by the centrifugal force, and a rotating water ring (6) is formed between the inner wall of 2SK water-ring vacuum pump and the impeller. The upper inner surface of the water ring is in contact with the impeller hub.

When the impeller rotates along the clockwise direction, the inner surface of the water ring is gradually separated from the hub during the first half of the rotation. The cavity formed between the adjacent two blades gradually increases.In the process of the second half rotation, the inner surface of the water ring is gradually close to the hub, the cavity between the two adjacent blades is gradually narrowed, the gas is compressed, and the pressure increases continuously. When the pressure increases to greater than the external pressure, the gas is discharged, so that the gas in the sealed container is constantly pumped away, and a certain vacuum is formed.
