Beautiful, used vintage 56 cm (55cm center to center) Italian road bike frameset with chrome fork, likely from the mid- to late 1980s, Columbus tubing (likely Columbus SL), with red-to-orange-to-yellow fade paint job -- bike was repainted, hence the Columbus "Riverniciato" decal -- with chrome seat and chain stays, and fork. Campy dropouts. Frame weight: 4lbs 2oz., fork weight: 1lbs 3oz.

Minor rust and corrosion, most noticeable around seat bolt hole, tops of seat stays, underside of bottom bracket, BB threads, dropouts and fork crown -- see photos.

I had Dale Brown at Cycles D'Oro in Greensboro, NC check out the frame to help identify the maker. Dale suggested it may be a Billato.  Other details: ~55cm top tube (center to center), Italian threading.
