The term "Suzani" means "needlework", in particular, exquisite panels for embroidery with cotton thread, made by Uzbek women.

Our Bugzhama (as the people call themselves) is authentic folk art, hand-sewn in the traditional manner.

This was done before the brides arrived at their new home, wrapped their belongings in an envelope and sewn accordingly.

Once used as wedding bed spreads, these gorgeous fabrics can bring color and texture to any environment. Suzani make amazing wall decorations, bedspreads, throws, pillows or even tablecloths.
