This listing features one (1) vintage 1962 Post Cereal HAND CUT football card #184, featuring legendary Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants and Georgia Bulldogs superstar quarterback (QB), and a member of the NFL Pro Football Hall Of Fame (HOF), FRAN TARKENTON. This is his Rookie Card (RC). Nice color still. Clear picture. Print on the front of the card is crisp. The front surface has some light scratches and a stain in the lower right hand corner (see 7th pic). There is also a light crease from the card number down through the “Post” logo (see pics), although it’s much less noticeable on the back side of the card. The back surface has a stripe of the glue used to keep a cereal box closed (see pics), as well as a small wrinkle that does not show through to the front (see pics 12 and 20). Corners show some rounding and wear, while the edges are still pretty sharp. Card looks to be cut with pretty good centering. It is in decent shape for a 60+ year old Rookie Card of a legend!
