This vintage-style cast iron tractor seat features the name of Walter A. Wood, the great American agriculture pioneer.
Born in 1815 in New Hampshire, Wood is probably most famous for making mowers and harvesters from his factory in Hoosick Falls, New York.
This tractor seat showcases the Walter A. Wood name across the middle, with "Hoosick Falls, N.Y. USA" underneath.
Finished in handpainted colours of dark green, brown and with yellow lettering, these tractor seats are now often repurposed as garage stools or garden seats.
A lovely, interesting and unique item, it appeals to both tractor enthusiasts and also people who just want to add an original touch to a garage or garden.
Condition is perfect and cast as per the originals which when they come to the market are usually very expensive.
It measures 16" x 13" and weighs 4 kg's approx.
Delivery would be with a reputable courier and tracked all the way for quick safe delivery.
Please note that these seats are now cast with a fixing hole in the centre.
