Contemporary full dark-blue calf-leather, gilt raised bands, gilt decoration to the compartments. Titles in gilt to a dark-red leather label, covers gilt ruled (with crest for Blackheath Proprietary School to front cover). Marbled end-papers, all page edges gilt, with the half-title.
