This vibrant cotton and cotton blend signature patch quilt is made from 1890's - 1910's blue and white blocks finished into a quilt top later (likely in the 1970's) by Leroy Markley of Mentone, Indiana, who had local Amish quilt makers from Nappanee, Indiana finish the quilt by hand.

It measures 82" X 96" and is excellent condition, with the occasional light spot and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall.

There is hand quilting around the piecework and in floral, cable, and zigzag designs in the background, all at 7 stitches to the inch.

The back and machine stitched binding are white, and the batting is thin.

The UNUSUAL HAND EMBROIDERED RED ACCENTS in the blocks and VIBRANT SOLID RED FRAMING make this patriotic vintage COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out!
