Roger Meddows Taylor OBE (born 26 July 1949) is an English musician, songwriter and singer. He achieved international fame as the drummer for the rock band Queen.As a drummer, Taylor was recognised early in his career for his unique sound and was voted the eighth-greatest drummer in classic rock music history in a listener poll conducted by Planet Rock in 2005.[3] He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 as a member of Queen.

Outsider is the sixth studio album by English musician Roger Taylor, best known as the drummer of British rock band Queen, which was released on 1 October 2021. A homonymous solo tour ran from 2 October to 22 October 2021.[4] The album was inspired by COVID-19 lockdowns.[3]
