An antique Blue Onion three-piece covered Tureen.
The tureen, with its beautiful blue on white pattern and the word Tureen in black across the front, comes with its original lid and original ladle.
Tureen measures approximately 9 1/2 inches high with the lid on and 7 inches on without the lid.
Bottom diameter is approximately 5 1/2 inches and the diameter of the rim is approximately 6 inches.
The tureen is in overall excellent condition with no crazing, cracks, fading or repairs. There is a tiny chip on the inside rim of the ladel, some worn glaze at the tip on the ladle's handle, one tiny chip on the interior rim, and a tiny flea bite at the opening of the lid where the ladle sits; all commensurate with age and use.
The Tureen is marked Blue Onion with the two crossing arrows in blue on its bottom.
A lovely antique tureen to use for soups, stews, etc., or to simply use as a wonderful display.
