Here is a neat SCOUT engine from the early 1960's that really only appeared in a few interesting sets. It did come with a variety of different tenders, but this offering is for LOCOMOTIVE only. There is no tender included. There are a few different variations of this engine, so make sure you have them all: some have 2-4-2, some 0-4-0; some have a long headlight and some have a short headlight. This one is an 0-4-0 with a long headlight.
Perhaps more interestingly, this one was painted by the original owner in pretty authentic BURLINGTON brown and silver colors for a steam engine; he even painted the shades of the cab window. Looks pretty nice CONDITION: This one is complete. Tested and runs and reverses. Motor a little loud like Scout motors are. Previous owner painted this one in a Burlington style livery by painting a few areas (not the whole thing--just the brown and silver). Pictures show it all--check them out!

Texas residents pay 8.25% sales tax. We appreciate payment within three days of auction's close. If you are bidding on other items, or would like to to shop our Ebay store, please feel free. We accept Paypal. We also accept credit cards.
Shipping
We are happy to combine shipping when possible. Some items cannot be combined due to size or weight. We will let you know if this is the case after your request.
To request combined shipping: 1) Add each of your items using Ebay's blue "Add to Cart" button; 2) Click on the shipping cart icon at the top right corner of the ebay screen; 3) Click REQUEST TOTAL FROM SELLER. This should be above the price column of the first listing in your cart. 4) WAIT TO PAY until we send you a revised invoice to pay. Please do not pay until you receive a revised invoice.
We are also happy to ship internationally.
At our discretion, we may add, at our expense, signature confirmation and/or insurance to more expensive orders. NOTE: These features require someone be present at time of delivery, so if you do not want this feature and accept responsibility for the shipment, please let us know ahead of time via Ebay messages. Terms of Sale

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
