- The thickness of the shelf is 36mm.
- The depth of the shelf is 150mm.
Each floating shelf is a bespoke hand-finished piece made from a carefully selected solid Oak board, therefore no other will be the same. The wooden shelf will be cut to a precise length and sanded. All square edges will be smoothed. The knots and splits will be filled with black colour wood filler to enhance the unique features of the wood and ensure the smooth finish. The oak shelf will then be coated with natural, water-resistant, long-wearing varnish in your chosen colour to create a vintage, natural, aged wood look.
***Colour***
We have selected the most natural colour palette that can be matched and integrated into many interiors.
The shade might vary from the one on the image, depending on the shade of the wood and different lighting.
***Brackets***
Very sturdy handmade rustic-style heavy duty steel brackets with the fixings are included in the set. Fixings are suitable for brick or stone walls, and wall joists. NOT suitable for the plasterboard walls, due to the weight of the solid hardwood, unless you use suitable fixings (not included). You are welcome to contact us if you have any queries about the fixing of the shelves.
- Shelves from 1200mm to 1600mm width will have 3 numbers of lip brackets.
- Shelves from 1800mm to 2700mm width will have 4 numbers of lip brackets.
***Delivery***
Our production time is usually up to 5 working days after the order is received. Please allow up to 7 days for the delivery, although it usually takes up to 3 working days.
