The Gillette Safety Razor was patented in 1907 and by the time of WWI was standard issue for US Military. This "Khaki Set" (as it reads on the inside of flap although barely legible) has standard steel parts and was issued to US ground troops. Remarkable condition for the age and given a blade (none included) I have no doubt you could use it today for one of the better shaves you have ever had. Folds into compact size for convenient placement in pack. When I first set eyes on it I thought it was probably a bandage pouch but there are no belt attachments anywhere.

Scarce item and the retiring dealer I got it from seemed to think it is of much greater value than asked for here.
