Ultra! Conus Bengalensis #1 w/o, 120.5mm, Okutani 1968, RARE GIANT SPECIMEN
.  Trawled by fishermen, 80-199 meters deep, off of Phuket Island, Thailand.  There are a lot of bengalensis out there, but this is an exceptionally big and nice one!  It does have some of the normal defects for a shell this size---a slightly worn apex, normal growth lines, a stylish and unique repair by the mouth (a tattoo?, look closely at the photo and you will see that I'm not making it up, it really is stylish and unique!)  Anyhow, this is a giant, dark-colored, beautifully pattern beauty with a smooth lip, and is the kind of rare shell people search the world over to find---and now it can look terrific sitting on your shelf!

As for normal disclaimers and such... I have tried my best to make sure the photos are accurate color-wise, but as everyone knows, color is a... well, it's tough.  Between my phone changing the color due to the color of the shell, the background, my not being able to see it too good while I'm taking pictures because of the tears in my eyes, (a shell I really wanted just arrived broken in the mail,) AAUURGH!!  AND it changing color when I post it on eBay, and then knowing that your phone or laptop is going to do weird things to it color-wise too, well, let's just say, I tried my best, and I hope you will think so too when you hold your new beauty in your hands for the first time.

Dancing!  I've been dodging dancing since the fifth grade!  Had to suddenly go lame then, and that cost me a week of kick-ball just so I wouldn't have to dance with a girl!  But unfortunately, that little dodge didn't work with the gorgeous one, (limped for a week and I still had to go to the first hula lesson!) guess she'd seen it before, so off I go to one dancing class after another, my wife wishing she had married Fred Astaire, and me showing all the dancing talent of a horse shoe, huh!
