This is a patriotic medallion issued by the Belgium Government.

The portraits of Belgian King Albert & Queen Elizabeth are featured on the front.

The flags of the Allied countries are depicted on the reverse.

Under the flags, there is a French caption that reads ;' Union Fait La Forge' (Unity Is Strength).

The medal is suspended by a Belgian national coloured ribbon.

The gold plated medallion ( 28 mm diameter) is in a good condition.

Good authentic WWI memento.
