Aqua Nova NSF-60L Sponge Filter

The Aqua Nova NSF-60L internal filter is powered by a stream of air from an aeration pump (which is not included in the set). Filters of this type clean the water of all mechanical impurities, such as: food remains, rotting plant parts, products of the metabolic process. They are very popular among breeders because they are safe for fry. They are known for their simplicity and effectiveness. Thanks to the specific structure of the sponge included in the set, the filter also enables excellent biological filtration. The porous structure of the sponge is an excellent habitat for beneficial nitrifying bacteria that purify the water of nitrogenous compounds. It is ideal for shrimp tanks and spawning aquaria. The dense sponge provides a source of additional food for aquarium shrimps. The filter is used in cultures with shrimps, fingerlings and discus, in incubators and catteries.

The filter is very simple to use. All you need to do is connect an aeration pump, purchased separately, to it.
