Peter Rabbit, Pigling Bland Vintage Enamel Wash Bowl – Beatrix Potter

 

This vintage child’s enamel wash bowl is decorated with images from Beatrix Potter books. It is approx. 11¾" (30cm) in diameter and 3½" (9cm) in height. I think this piece dates from anywhere between the 1930’s to 1950’s. It is in a fair condition for its age with chips around the rim and heavy soiling/staining which cannot be removed. I cannot find another one on the internet so I do not know if this was an official product or a one of kind piece.
