ANGELS ~ Small CHRISTMAS CARD with a beautiful image of angels
and a starlit Christmas tree from an illustration by Margaret Tarrant (1888-1959).
High quality card with a smooth glossy finish.
Small card, size is 15cm x 10cm approximately.
The greeting inside is "With All Good Wishes for Christmas and the New Year".
Supplied with a white envelope, and cellophane wrapped.
All cards are securely packed in a board-backed envelope for protection.
Prince Albert Prince is often believed to have introduced the English to the German tradition of Christmas trees
during the 1840s but the earliest Royal Christmas tree is thought to have been displayed by Queen Charlotte,
the German wife of George III. The Queen decorated a potted yew for a party at Queen’s Lodge, Windsor
in December 1800 and created an aristocratic fashion for similar trees.
