The Avengers is a team of superheroes, appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The team made its debut in The Avengers #1 (Sept. 1963), and was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist/co-plotter Jack Kirby, following the trend of super-hero teams after the success of DC Comics' Justice League of America.

Labeled "Earth's Mightiest Heroes", the Avengers originally consisted of Iron Man (Tony Stark), Ant-Man (Dr. Henry Pym), Wasp (Janet Van Dyne), Thor, and the Hulk (Bruce Banner). The original Captain America was discovered by the team in issue #4, trapped in ice, and he joined the group when they revived him. The rotating roster has become a hallmark of the team, although one theme remains consistent: the Avengers fight "the foes no single superhero can withstand". The team, famous for its battle cry of "Avengers Assemble!", has featured humans, mutants, robots, gods, aliens, supernatural beings, and even former villains.

The Avengers feature film released in 2012 set the record for the biggest opening Movie debut in North American history.

If there is a problem with your purchase let us know and we will work to remedy the issue. If it is our fault, we'll fix it. Our goal is to propagate trust in on-line trading. Some of our best online transactions have been those where a customer has allowed us to fix our mistake and make it right.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY : At Boondock Collectibles, we love our international customers. We recognize the magnificent benefit of being able to trade with just about anyone in the world, almost anywhere in the world. Of course, with international transactions come certain difficulties. Many sellers refuse to conduct business internationally because they feel that it is not as secure as domestic business. We have found that to be untrue. We believe that people are basically good regardless of geography. Please keep the following international transaction factors in mind before you bid:

We can only ship USPS Express Mail International. We recognize this is expensive however it is the most efficient and safest way for us to get the item to you. Very rarely are there customs delays with this shipping method. In some rare cases delivery may get delayed and it will likely take longer to receive your item. If your local Customs does decide to hold a package you can expect delivery to take 3-4 weeks. If you have not received a package within 30 days of our shipment, please notify us and we'll issue an inquiry and get you taken care of. In most if not all cases Express Mail takes between 5-10 days from the time we ship your item.

Boondock Collectibles will need to accurately declare all of its international orders with their full value. Marking our merchandise as a gift on a customs form puts us at an unnecessary risk.

Ebay members with 10 feedback or less are required to contact Boondock Collectibles prior placing any bid or ultimately risk a bid retraction. Boondock Collectibles reserves the right to cancel, block, or not honor any questionable bids placed on our items.
