Japanese Mixed Metal Vases, Meiji

A pair of late 19th century Japanese mixed metal vases.  They are of gently tapering form with pinched necks and stepped rims.  The bodies are polished brass and they have copper flower heads and silver leaves applied to the bodies.  No makers marks which is common for late 19th century examples.  Quite heavy for their size and a nice decorative pair.

Condition

Normal period wear, some minor knocks.  They have been kept quite well polished but would of course polish further should you wish to do so.
