CONDITION: PRE-OWNED WITH ORIGINAL TAGS – a barely USED GALLERY WRAPPED CANVAS "VINTAGE CHRISTMAS TRUCK-D" BY JEAN PLOUT FRAMED CONTEMPORARY ART PIECE – ONLY 1 PREVIOUS OWNER whom only used it for one Holiday season and then placed it safely in storage for a few years. I'd say this is in ALMOST LIKE NEW/EXCELLENT CONDITION, as it looks as good as new, with only the price obscured on the one sales tag (it was originally a gift), and with the only insignificant item of note being a few tears on the back brown paper covering, which is normal for this type of item and easily mended - plus you don't see that side, so it really doesn't need to be replaced (you can clearly see this detail on all the photos of the back side and you will agree that it's an insignificant item of note since it's usually unavoidable, common occurrence) . This 2016 painting by Jean Plout features a beautiful Vintage Red Truck transformed into Santa's sleigh, with the magical man himself behind the wheel, amongst a whimsical Christmas scene including a traditional tree, wrapped gifts, candy canes and more; plus, the famed holiday song lyrics, "Dashing Through the Snow," are emblazoned on the bottom in a red glitter paint. The artist creatively balanced these glitter embellished words found on the bottom by adding a colorful Christmas light display on the top section with glitter paint over the bulbs, not only making them appear to be "lit up", but also providing an eye appeasing symmetry overall. Like many of Plout's pieces, this design includes a rustic-style wood-plank graphic print backdrop that only enhances the overall charm of this attractive Christmas piece.
