ESP32-LyraTD-MSC

The ESP32-LyraTD-MSC V2.2 is an audio development board produced by Espressif built around ESP32. It is intended for smart speakers and AI applications, by providing hardware for digital signal processing,
microphone array and additional RAM on top of what is already onboard of the ESP32 chip.

This audio development board consists of two parts: the upper board (B), which provides a three-microphone array, function keys and LED lights; and the lower board (A), which integrates ESP32-WROVER-B, a MicroSemi Digital Signal Processing (DSP) chip, and a power management module.

ESP32-LyraTD-SYNA

ESP32-LyraTD-SYNA is one of Espressif’s Audio Development Board based on ESP32 MCU and Synaptics DSP. It is an Acoustic Echo Cancelation (AEC) solution, supporting voice recognition and voice wake-up. Audio files in the
format of WAV, MP3, AAC, FLAC, OPUS and OGG can be decoded and encoded without quality loss. It also supports connection to Amazon’s AVS (Alexa Voice Service), Google's Dialogflow and Google's GVA (Google Voice
Assistant).

ESP32-LyraTD-SYNA is based on ESP32-WROVER-B, a BT/Wi-Fi combo module, and a digital signal processor (DSP) that features a two-microphone array for noise reduction and echo cancelation, as well as a Coder-Decoder (CODEC) that includes two pairs of DACs & ADCs with high sampling rates.

ESP32-LyraTD-DSPG

The core components of ESP32-LyraTD-DSPG include an ESP32-WROVER-B module and a digital signal processor (DSP) with a three-microphone array, which can reduce noise, eliminate echo, and achieve beamforming and detection. ESP32-LyraTD-DSPG consists of two parts: the main board and the sub-board: the main board contains the power management module, Wi-Fi and audio modules (such as DSP, codec and power amplifier, etc.);
the sub-board contains the microphone array, function buttons and
instructions light.

Hardware resources:
1. USB power inputProvide power for the entire system. It is recommended to use a power adapter to ensure stable power supply.

2. ESP32-WROVER-B moduleESP32-WROVER-B module is a powerful general-purpose Wi-Fi / dual-mode Bluetooth compatible communication module with a wide range of applications, mainly for low-power sensor networks and voice encoding / decoding, music streaming and running voice assistant customers A series of high-demand application scenarios such as terminal SDK.

3. DBMD5P DSP
DBMDSP is a dual-core programmable voice processor that supports multiple functions such as voice trigger (VD), voice command, voice authentication (VA), and acoustic echo cancellation (AEC). The audio DSP is mainly used for wake word detection and can capture audio data from an external three microphone array.

4. Audio codec

E8388 audio codec is used to convert digital audio to analog audio output.

5. Audio amplifier
This audio power amplifier can send the audio signal of the codec to an external speaker for playback

6. CP2102N USB-UART bridge

The upgraded CP2102 chip can support USB to UART conversion.
Note: The design of the CP2102N chip is slightly different from the CP2102.

7. USB port
Universal USB communication port, used for communication between PC and ESP32 module.

8, headphone jack
Used to connect headphones and output audio through the codec.

9 · Speaker output port
An external speaker can be supported by the power amplifier.

10.FPC connector
The main board and the daughter board can be connected by a flexible cable, and the daughter board integrates a microphone array, buttons and LED
indicators.

11.Mini Din connector
If required, it can be used to connect the microphone cable. By default, this connector is not installed on the motherboard.

12. Daughterboard
The daughter board integrates the LED indicator and its drive, function buttons and microphone array (connected by a flexible cable).
