Antique Round Leather Collar/Cuff Box DIEU Et MON DROIT. Seal Pat Aug 1879
The seal on the top lid is embossed with the seal "DIEU ET MON DROIT." translated from French means "For the Love of France".
The bottom of the box is embossed "PAT'D AUG 5,1879" and the numbers 158.
The inside of the box and outer rim is leather stained red. The lid and box seams are split. There is evidence of wear, marks and scratches from age and handling. The top edge of the box shows some parts of the leather separating and worn.
Measures 5" high with the top on and 5-3/4" diameter.
