This is a Leitz Wetzlar Summitar 5cm f2 Canadian Air Force specification R.C.A.F, hexagonal aperture.

Since there is no genre, I am listing it with other mounts, but it is Leica L mount.

The glass is commonly known as ``Yamazaki polished''.

For reference, I have posted a photo of the body that was auctioned in the past.

Other than the engraving, it is a normal Zumita, but it was sent to a famous store to have the balsam cut repaired, and has been repolished and recoated.

I have seen IIIf and IIIa bodies for sale several times.

I've even seen body and lens sets being sold at famous stores.

I think it is basically a rare item, but please note that there is no certificate of authenticity.

(As a side note, I was once approached by a collector in Canada who asked me to give it to him because he wanted it to be included in a war memorial.)

Genuine front cap, aftermarket rear cap, genuine color correction filter, Walz UV filter.

【Situation】

Appearance is based on the year, please check the photos.

There are signs of disassembly from the time of purchase.

・The collapsing and withdrawing operations are a little rough.

It also feels a little stiff when you pull it out and then fasten it.

・Infinite lock, snaps and feels good.

・It squeezes smoothly, but there is some oil around it.

・There is no unpleasant haze on the glass.

There was a piece of balsam, so it was repaired at a well-known shop. I can provide you with a voucher if you wish.

・There are light scratches, cleaning marks, scuffs, and a little dust overall, but I didn't notice any effect on the depiction.

As far as I can see with my eyes, I think it's quite refreshing.

・The pin has been confirmed with Leica IIIf, Leica M3 using LM ring, Leica M6, Leica MM, Leica M9-P, and Leica M-D Typ262.

This is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are nervous.
