BOOKS ARE ALL IN NEAR VERY GOOD CONDITION. OF THE FIVE THAT SHOULD INCLUDE 2-45rpm RECORDS, ONLY TWO RETAIN THE RECORDS. THERE IS SURFACE RUBBING TO THE COVERS OF ALL BOOKS. THERE IS AGE RELATED PAPER TONING THROUGHOUT. ALL BOOKS PUBLISHED IN 1956 BY THE BOOK GUILD FOR THE DANCE GUILD.

FRONT AND REAR OF ALL BOOKS SHOWN IN (PHOTO 1 & 2)

THE UNEVEN PAPER TONING THAT APPEARS TO SHOW HORIZONTAL WHITE STRIPES (PHOTO 11 & 12) IS DUE TO THE SLEEVE THAT HELD THE ORIGINAL RECORDS.

If you intend to use these to learn the steps, quite frankly it is easier to find a "polka" on you tube than it is to play a 45rpm record.

1- THE EASY WAY TO GOOD DANCING- Published in 1956 like the others but outside of the ten book series (of which this auction includes five) of learning specific dances (PHOTO 3 & 4 ). There were no records included with this book.

2- FOX TROT MADE EASY: (PHOTO 5 & 6 & 7). This includes the two records. Boards bowed in at the ends because of the records.
3- SAMBA MADE EASY (PHOTO 8 & 9). This includes the two records. Boards are bowed in at the ends because of the records
5- LINDY MADE EASY (with Charleston) . (PHOTO 10  & 11). Records are not present
6- POLKA MADE EASY (PHOTO 12, 13, 14). Records are not present. There is a split in front cover at front hinge (PHOTO 14) that does not affect the book at all but is sort of unattractive. There is also a bit more yellowing to the white portion of the front cover.
7- WALTZ MADE EASY (PHOTO 15 & 16 & 17 & 18). Records are not present.

THERE IS SPINE FADING TO ALL BOOKS BUT A COUPLE HAVE SIGNIFICANTLY GREATER FADING (PHOTO 19), with WALTZ being the worst.

PLEASE USE ZOOM FUNCTION ON ALL PHOTOS AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.

If you live close enough to NY that the cost of another shipping option is within a dollar or two, I will use that option to prevent the possibility of a postal employee opening the package.

PLEASE NOTE: For book sales, I virtually always include a vinyl bag tightly wrapped on the exterior. This is an attempt to prevent any USPS employee from opening the package for inspection as it would be time consuming for them to repackage it. This is done simply because my packaging is done more carefully than their repackaging and also to protect the book from the elements. The vinyl bag covers cardboard protection and you can simply cut the  bag open (carefully) and remove the contents. The cardboard protection is also typically held with tape and cutting in the obvious places will allow the cardboard to pop right open, exposing the book (in another protective vinyl bag). Using this method, you should be able to open any book I send in under a minute. No "buzz saw" is required.  Thank you
