THIS IS A 1968 POP-UP BOOK THAT DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE EVER BEEN USED BUT HAS SOME MINOR ISSUES OF CONDITION. STILL RETAINS THE ORIGINAL $1.95 PEEL OFF PRICE WHICH WAS ONLY GOOD UNTIL 1970, WHEN THE PRICE BECAME $3.95. THAT STRONGLY SUGGESTS A FIRST PRINTING

This book was owned by a long term Random House employee who collected the books. This is #13 in the Pop-Up series.

FIRST: WHAT IS WRONG:
1- Very minimal edge wear to the board and spine edges
2- The inside edge of two pages stuck together  (PHOTO 7 & PHOTO 8-BOTTOM)
3- The rear board has a corner crease simply due to pressure over decades as the top half of the book is thinner than the center where all of the movable parts are. The board remains very strong but the paper on the inside of board does show creasing.(PHOTO 11 & 12)
4- Light age related paper toning and light surface scuffs to boards.

That is the extent of what is wrong with the book. It does not appear that any of the pull tabs were pulled. They all have lines in the tab that are supposed to bend when you grab and pull the tab and none of them show the expected crease on those pull tab lines.

I utilize a third party EBAY supplied shipper for international sales. This is part of the Global Shipping Program. Please note the actual shipping cost before purchasing. That is not my shipping fee and I neither receive it nor know what the amount is. I have no control over import fees that may be charged. Please do not commit to "buy it now" until you have seen the shipping amount that you will be charged. Thank you.

For International Buyers:  Media Mail shipments only. Please note that, although you are likely paying very high shipping costs to have this item sent to you, I am not charging those costs. In the case of books, I utilize "media mail" to get the box to the third party shipper. "Media mail" is a very SLOW speed mailing process reserved for books and records that are potentially very heavy. If you can not wait for my shipment to reach the third party shipper at a very slow pace, please contact me before purchasing and I can add a faster (and more expensive) alternative to the listing to get the item to the third party shipper.

PLEASE NOTE: For book sales, I virtually always include a vinyl bag tightly wrapped on the exterior. This is an attempt to prevent any USPS employee from opening the package for inspection as it would be time consuming for them to repackage it. This is done simply because my packaging is done more carefully than their repackaging and also to protect the book from the elements. The vinyl bag covers cardboard protection and you can simply cut the  bag open (carefully) and remove the contents. The cardboard protection is also typically held with tape and cutting in the obvious places will allow the cardboard to pop right open, exposing the book (in another protective vinyl bag). Using this method, you should be able to open any book I send in under a minute. No "buzz saw" is required.  Thank you
