Amount of henna will depend upon several factors including hair length and texture. As a general guide, consider mentioned quantity:

·         Short Length Hair:  1 Packet

·         Shoulder Length Hair:  2-3 Packets

·         Mid-back Length Hair:  3-4 Packets

·         Lower-back Length Hair:  4-5 Packets

·         Waist Length Hair: 5-6 Packets

This is absolutely a safe and simple process. First and the foremost, shampoo hair to remove all the dirt and excess oil from the scalp (do not condition your hair).

·         Pour henna powder into a bowl and add ¼ cup of normal water to it.

·         Stir the paste vigorously, to avoid the formation of lumps.

·         Make sure the paste is not drippy but have a creamy-soup like consistency.

For better conditioning, add an egg or 2-3 tbsp of olive oil or yogurt to the paste to treat dry or damaged hair.

For better color results, squeeze a lemon in the henna paste to lighten the blonde shade. (Only, if you are not allergic to lemon).

For chocolaty brown color, add 2-3 tbsp of coffee to the henna paste. On the other hand, for deep red shade, you can add beetroot juice in the henna paste.

·         This organic Henna can be applied onto wet or dry hair. It is advisable to apply a cream, oil, Vaseline around the hairline, neck or ears to avoid staining on the skin. 

·         Section your hair in four equal quarters for easy and better application of henna.

·         Starting from the scalp, apply henna paste with a brush from hair roots to the ends.

·         Keep repeating the process of henna application until hair is thickly coated with the henna paste.

·         Fix a cotton or tissue around the hairline. And, cover the henna coated hair with shower cap, old towel or with a plastic wrap.

·         Leave henna for 45- 60 minutes.

·         Rinse it off with normal water and then wash hair with a mild shampoo. For more intense shade, leave it for another 15- 30 minutes.

It is advisable to do a strand test before applying henna to the entire scalp. Select one inch section and apply henna onto it, to know what color it may leave on your hair texture.

Our hair henna is absolutely free of ammonia, PPD, metallic salts or any other chemical composition. Still, it is prescribed to do a sensitivity test on your skin. It will help you to determine whether you are or not allergic to the content of the henna. For carrying out the test, clean a small area of your skin (behind the ear or inner surface of your forearm), apply small quantity of hair henna and leave it for 24 hours. If no irritation or inflammation is apparent, then you can proceed ahead with the henna application.

For Light Colored Natural Hair :

Like - Grey Hair, Blonde, Blonde variations, Light Brown, Light Brown variations 

Post Use - Color Purchased. However, since this is natural hair, color intensity will vary usage to usage and hair to hair.

Please Note - Natural Hair Henna Dyes will give you different color intensity in different usage and since different persons have different different hair types, the result will vary.

Though, multiple usage will give you the desired result.

For Dark Colored Original Hair with No Gray or Light Hair :

Like -  Black, Dark Brown, Black and Dark Brown Variations, Red

After Use  - Little color , No Color

You may also get Light shine of the desired color after first application. Multiple applications will slowly improve your desired color.

If you want you Dark Black Hair color to be changed to Red color Or Brown Color etc, it won't be possible with this Henna because it is a natural Henna. First application may give you No color or Very Little color Like a shine of red wine on your Black Hair. Though you can use multiple applications to get the results slowly.

Number of applications will depend on person to person based on your Hair type and your previous Hair color you have been using, if any.

Also, It is always recommended to do a patch test before you use. If you are allergic to Henna colors, please do not buy.
