Egyptian Silver Card Case

An early 20th century Egyptian silver and copper damascene cigarette case.  It is marked 'Sterling' to the interior underneath a symbol and is likely of inter-war period.  The case is slightly curved to aid comfort when in a pocket.  It has traditional subjects of pyramids and people by the Nile river.  The interior is also pictorial with further scenics.  The band for holding the cigarettes is sprung metal instead of the usual elastic.  There are no makers marks.

Condition

Normal period wear, some patina to the copper which I have left, but would bright polish should you wish to do so.  Possibly some rubbing of the copper to the reverse, hard to tell if the lesser amount there is intentional or later rubbing. Clasp and hinge fine.
