4 x 10" handmade paper banner/certificate - internal office joke from Al Paul Lefton Co in 1967

phenomenal piece of advertising history!

Dear Bill,
Please accept this small token of thanks for the magnificent, splendid execution of an extremely difficult and time-consuming photographic assignment. The assembled group (signed below) unanimously voted you the Photographer of the Hour (12:00 to 1:00 AM July 6th, 1967, A.D.)

In search fo an appropriate gift to symbolize our sincerity many suggestions were offered and discarded. The committee was unanimous in its accord for a decanter of rare, old Arabian wine. Unfortunately, only one flask of the above could be located and Roger Cook would not part with it. It's understandable...distilled essence of camel dung is not easily obtained. On top of which the Philadelphia Board of Health has a stuffy attitude on this drink. Something about it not being fit for human consumption...whatever that means. At any rate we here at the biggest agency on Washington Square hope you will accept this small token of esteem in lieu of money.
