When using this awesome tool - just kindly place the hook under the arm base, lift and squeeze the wiper arm and tool together, then the wiper arm and tool just slide off -- reverse to install -- The reason this tool works so easy, is because the wiper arm has a spring loaded clip that will not release until the arm is in the right position...again, I cannot express how awesome this tool is.
