Presenting a Genuine Antique circa 1890's-early 1900’s two-sided Masonic Scottish Rite Symbolic Rose Croix Golden and Silvery with Enamel Jewel. It features the mystical Pelican feeding her chicks with her own life’s blood on one side with an equally compelling composition on the reverse. The inscription on the top tier reads “Pittsburgh”. An exceptionally fine, nicely detailed and well crafted piece. In very good vintage condition with only some normal expected minor age wear. No serious problems. Far nicer then many we others see. The high quality of such early pieces could not be replicated in modern times. It measures approximately 3 ¼ inches high. A GENUINE HISTORIC ANTIQUE MYSTICAL METAPHYSICAL MASONIC DOUBLE-SIDED SCOTTISH RITE JEWEL! KNIGHT OF THE ROSE CROIX! SYMBOLIC & PROFOUND! There are gold and silver color elements here. We are not jewelers and do not know if there is any actual gold or silver here, or if it is a lovely golden and silver colored metal of some type. But we can assure you that it is a most handsome piece. And if it were marked for gold or silver, our price would be far, far higher that what this is being listed for. One cannot go wrong. There is no makers marking. Possibly made by the Heeren Brosthers. In any event this Jewel is every inch as fine as the best jewelry made by “The Ames Sword Company”, “The Pettibone Bros”, “M. C. Lilley & Co” and “Horstmann of Philadelphia”. This is a genuine historic relic. Do not allow it to escape you.
